Just as against the prophet, the man-at-arms is great for protecting a weaker hero marked by Wilbur. The swine boss has a lot of life but very little resistance to bleed and blight, so the flagellant and the plague doctor are very good. Bring heroes who can attack the front ranks and inflict a lot of damage. And if you kill Wilbur, he gets furious and uses this attack against the entire group exclusively. If you attack Wilbur, the swine boss makes an attack that inflicts a lot of damage on the entire group. This one marks one or two of your heroes in each turn, and the swine boss follow his instructions and attack the marked heroes for a lot of damage. The swine boss is accompanied by his best friend, the little pig Wilbur. Hopefully it will work on the swine god too.This is a small guide to help you beat the swine prince, the swine king and the swine god bosses in the warrens dungeon. This strategy made the fight a joke for me. Plague Doctors stun has the advantage that you occasionally may get the prince too. Plague Doctor and Bounty Hunter have those.
Stuff that works: Stunning Wilbur with attacks that do NOT do damage. Use the occultist to spam weakening curse on the boss, this will make its hits much smaller and more likely to miss The Swine prince/king/god will go nuts and attack all of your heroes every turn for a crippling amount of damage. If you ever swap him with your 2nd row character he can divine comfort. Your vestal will most of the time spam divine grace to top up your characters. The boss will only be able to remove the mark of one of the two, you can then use a skill like lunge/duelists advance to go forward while dealing damage. If your second row character gets marked TOGETHER with your front line tank then swap him one row back. Make sure your front row has the %protection buff all the time (with this setup my leper constantly got hit for 1 while marked) Ignore the piggy on the back until you have gotten rid of the prince/king/god I have gone through swine prince and king without a single loss and am on my way to the swine god.
I did this layout on my first way through and the fight was a joke.
The only skills you need here are divine grace and divine comfort, you won't be doing anything else.Ĥth row - an occultist with weakening curse.
